Chinmaya International Residential School (CIRS)

Chinmaya International Residential School (CIRS) is a unique Co-Ed Boarding School with a East - West Blend of Culture and Academics. Nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats in Siruvani, Coimbatore, India, it spans a sprawling 100-acre campus.

Founded in 1996, CIRS currently enrolls over 580 high-achieving students from 24 Indian states and 20 countries. It offers CBSE from grades 5 to 12 and IB for grades 11 to 12.

Why CIRS?

In the 1970s, Swami Chinmayananda observed a mass migration of India's brightest minds to foreign countries and expressed concern about the inevitable spiritual decline as future generations lost their connection to their Motherland. He envisioned an International Residential School, to ‘integrate the best of the East and West, a cultural home away from home to unearth the beauty and hidden potential of tomorrow’s leaders.'
